Arden Page
Attorney Arden Page, rated AV by Martindale-Hubble and listed in The Best Lawyers In America (ADR) and Alaska Super Lawyers, commenced his legal career in 1968. After a 35 year association with one of Alaska’s largest law firms, he established his own practice in 2007.
Past litigation work included oil and gas, environmental, personal injury, insurance, maritime and workers’ compensation matters. He serves as counsel to the Alaska Oil and Gas Association, a position held since 1984.
Mr. Page’s current practice focuses almost exclusively on alternative dispute resolution, with an emphasis on mediation. He has mediated or has been appointed as an arbitrator in more than 300 cases in the past ten years. He is a member of the American Arbitration Association’s commercial arbitration panel.
Mr. Page is a member of the Alaska Bar Association, the Federalist Society and The Maritime Law Association of the United States. He is currently serving his second term as a member of the Alaska Bar’s Association Area Discipline Hearing Committee, is a member of the Alaska Supreme Court’s Mediation Rules Committee and has been a member of the Anchorage Superior Court’s Civil Bench / Bar Committee.
In his leisure, Mr. Page enjoys hunting, fishing, target shooting, hiking, cross-country skiing and bicycling. He served as President of the Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage for two terms, is a licensed biathlon official and is an active member of Alaska’s Commonwealth North, a public policy forum. Mr. Page is an Eagle Scout and a supporter of Scouting.
Mr. Page grew up in Hornell, New York; attended the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (B.S., Geology / Geophysics) and received his legal education at the University of Texas.
